In Bohdanivka, the Velykydymyr community restored the administrative building that was destroyed due to the war
news-021 The administrative building of the village of Bohdanivka in the Kyiv region was severely damaged. From March 7 to April 1, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fought battles against Russian occupiers in the territory of the Velykydymyr community. The fighting caused significant damage to infrastructure, buildings, and most enterprises and trade establishments were damaged or destroyed.
The reconstruction of the administrative building in Bohdanivka began on April 10, 2024, and was completed in July 2024. The restoration was entirely funded by the charitable foundation "Partnership for a Strong Ukraine" Chemonics International, Inc.
The project approval process was open and transparent, the project was selected through a competitive procedure. The donor organization conducted a competition in accordance with its policies. The public had access to information about this project.
The restoration of the premises on the second floor, the roof of the building, the implementation of external and internal repair works, as well as providing the premises with new furniture and the necessary IT equipment cost UAH 4,358,310.
There were no public discussions on the restoration. The project was chosen by a donor organization, the priority was determined by the need to provide administrative services to local residents, since after the deoccupation, work was possible only in two offices on the first floor, where all the institution's specialists worked.
We will definitely provide details on barrier-free and energy efficiency later.
