Community recovery: a comprehensive approach from UN-Habitat

 Let's talk about another event that our team participated in. This meeting took place last year, but it is important because it was dedicated to the program "Supporting the Restoration of Ukrainian Cities". Within the framework of this topic, attention was focused on the need for a comprehensive approach to the restoration of Ukrainian communities in the conditions of a full-scale war.
During the event, experts also discussed key aspects of developing and improving strategic documents. These documents are the foundation for the sustainable development of communities, taking into account current challenges and future needs.
We are responsible for creating strategic documents for communities. For example, the development of Comprehensive Restoration Programs. The Makariv territorial community, for which we created such a document, — the first in the Kyiv region to have an approved Comprehensive Territorial Restoration Program in accordance with current legislation.
Thanks to the Program, the community is already successfully implementing new initiatives and solving urgent issues of development and reconstruction.
